Zajedno sa Sportsko ribolovnim savezom Bosne i Hercegovine Park prirode Hutovo Blato biti će domaćin 27. svjetskog klubskog prvenstva u sportskom ribolovu. Ovom prilikom, pa sve do početka takmičenja predstavljat ćemo domaćina i njegove i naše aktivnosti vezane za pripremu i samu organizaciju svjetskog prvenstva.

Zaštićeno područje

Priča o zaštičenom području počinje 1. lipnja 1954 godine sa uspostavom ornitološkog i faunističkg rezervata unutar kojeg je do 1959 godine utvrđen ornitološki rezervat nazvan «Škrka» u kojem su bili zabranjen lov i ribolov. Sve do osnivanja zaštićenog područja 30. ožujka 1995 Hutovo Blato predstavljalo prepoznatljivo područje za turistički lov i razgledanje. Kao rezultat projekta LIFE treće zemlje:» Nove politike

upravljanja vlažnim područjem Hutova Blata»( LIFECTY 99/BIH/035) lov je bio zabranjen.Obzirom na vrijednost područja prije svega za migracijsku ptičju faunu, 2001

Godine je uključeno na Listu vlažnih staništa od međunarodnog značaja prema konvenciji Ramsar ( Iran 1971 ) i među značajna područja za ptičiju faunu ( IBA ) od Bird Lfe Internatuonal, područje na kojem se nalazi značajan broj ugroženih vrsta kao što su patka njorka ( Aythya nyroca) i mali vranac ( Phalacrocorax pygmeus)

The Protected Area

The history of the protecded area begins on the 3rd June 1954, with the founding of the Ornithological and Faunal Reserve of Hutovo Blato, where in 1959 the authorties located an ornithological reserve called «Šarka» , there banning fishing, huting and other profitable economic activites.Until the 30th March 1995, when the cantonal protected area was founded, Hutovo Blato represented a well-known area mainly for its huting and fishing tourism. Only in 1999, following the the implementation of the EU funded project LIFE Third Countries « New plicies for menagment of the wet area of Hutovo Blato» (LFETCY 99/BIH/035), hunting had been banned. In 2001, given the value of the area –mainly due to the presence of migrant birds- it had been included in the List of the Wetlands of International Importance , according to the Convention of Ramsar (Iran, 1971), and among the Important Areas for the Ornithological Fauna by Bird Life International, as it regularly hosts a significant number of species that are globally at risk as, for example the Ferruginous duck ( aythya nyroca), and the Pygmy cormorant (Phalacrocrax pygmeus). The management of the area has been garanted to the public company of the Natural Park of Hutovo Blato. KOMISIJA ZA INFORMIRANJE ČAPLJINA 2007 GOD.
